Bacon Asparagus 2Yep. And I have no regrets about it. And my dad didn’t seem to mind as he shoved 2 of them quickly in his mouth. I know you’ll be SHOCKED to read there were no leftovers.


Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Sweet Balsamic Glaze

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Sweet Balsamic Glaze


  • 12 stalks of asparagus
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 12 slices of bacon


  1. Combine honey, vinegar and olive oil. Wrap each asparagus stalk in a slice of bacon. Place in a shallow baking dish. Drizzle the marinade over the bacon wrapped asparagus. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Set up your grill for direct cooking - low temp. You don't want the bacon to burn. I had my grill at around 250-300.
  3. Place asparagus on the outskirts of the grill, careful not to burn, and turn frequently.
  4. Grill for about 15 minutes, or until bacon is golden brown.
