Ellbee’s Parternship & Giveaway!

Ellbees Garlic SeasoningIt was about 5 years ago that I met Linda and Brent at a festival in St. Louis.  I was drawn to their booth by the sweet aroma of garlic.  In case you didn’t know, Patti and I are slightly obsessed with all things garlic.  They were simply making garlic toast…but it was extraordinary garlic toast.  I had a piece, and then another, and then we bought one of everything they had.

Ellbee’s Garlic Seasonings and Rubs is a unique and delicious company.  Their main product is their garlic seasoning, which pairs well with…ummm…everything.  They’ve added several variations since their original, and all of them are uniquely delicious.  We’ve used them on…ummm…everything.

The best part, in my opinion, about Ellbee’s isn’t the product – it’s the people.  You won’t find a kinder couple than Linda and Brent.  I still remember our first meeting and how kind they were to Patti and I.  They gave us several samples, asked us questions, chatted for several minutes all the while smiling and serving other patrons as well.  When we walked away from their booth, I remember Patti saying, “They might be the nicest people I’ve ever met.”  I couldn’t disagree.

So it was Patti’s idea, as she was creating a delicious sauce for a burger topping using Ellbee’s as a key ingredient, to connect with them and ask if they’d like to partner up with Extraordinary BBQ.  We have since shared several conversations with Linda, their ad is on our home page, and we are THRILLED to have them as friends and partners in the world of delicious food.

To celebrate this yummy new venture, Ellbee’s is giving away TWO of their variety packs of garlic seasonings: The Try Me 4 Pk:  Original, Zesty, Tuscan & Lemon Citrus and the Grillers 4 pk: Chili Lime, Asian Ginger, Chipolte Herb, and Sweet and Smokey.    Try them out for your 4th of July BBQ!  I promise if you add one of their delicious seasonings to your burgers, chicken, veggies or seafood, your guests will be blown away by the explosion of flavor!

Thank you to all that participated in our Ellbee’s giveaway.  Our winner is……..

Sara C.

She will be receiving the Ellbee’s variety packs in the mail within the next few days!  Sara, make sure to let us know what recipes you prepare with Ellbee’s!

A total “must-have” in my kitchen now. Although it’s hard to pick which one I like the best. Tuscan, Zesty, or Original are my favorites. I also have a weakness for the Chili Lime. My family will no longer allow me to make garlic bread any way except by mixing Ellbee’s with butter and smearing it on!

I liked the Ellbee’s page on facebook and commented on their facebook profile. I also followed Extraordinary BBQ on facebook and signed up for the newsletter.

(And Brent is just the nicest guy!)

I have a confession. I am addicted to Ellbee’s. I am a frequent user. Must always have it in my pantry and refrigerator. When I cook something, my sons say, “What’s in this, Mom? Oh, yeah, Ellbee’s.” Of course!! From appetizers to entrees to vegetable sides, Ellbee’s always makes it better. I’d have to say that I’m an ‘Original’ girl. I use it in just about everything! I don’t have to think, “How’s this going to taste?” Original is great all the time. Lately I have been branching out a bit to the ‘Sweet n Smokey’ and the ‘Chili Lime’ too. It’s fun expanding my horizons. Which reminds me, I need to restock…

I also was drawn in by the garlic bread smell at a local trade show. They are wonderful people and made me feel like I was the only person in the booth space. They took time explaining the products and are so excited about their products!! I bought several flavors and have been a loyal customer ever since. We love the Chili Lime and the Lemon Citrus on chicken! I am already an the email list. Thanks!!

I am now following you on Pinterest, liked them on Facebook as well as commented on their blog. I think the Zesty and Garlic both look great!

I am interested in trying the Zesty as a rub on grilled chicken wings. It doesn’t sound possible for that to turn out badly.

That sounds like a great idea! Have you done any of the other “Ways to Enter”? If so, list them here and you can get more entries! Even if we did them a long time ago.
