Fall Competition Season Begins!

This weekend re-starts the competition BBQ season as we wrap up summer and head into fall with several huge competitions coming up.

This weekend is the Epiphany Kings of the Grill BBQ Competition.  It’s the first year for the event, right in the middle of the city of St. Louis, and all profits go to charity.  Equally exciting, the winner of the competition gets automatic entry into the Kansas City American Royal…one of the most prestigious competitions in the country.

It’s an SLBS event (St. Louis BBQ Society), but structured like a traditional KCBS event with the big 4 categories:  Brisket, Pork, Chicken, Ribs.  I.  Love.  This.  Challenge.
